"Sleeping" through a fire is easy if you're overcome by the smoke before you're burned. The limited areas of charred flesh happen when it's a small fire that's confined to the clothing or other objects close to the body. That's how the bizarre burning deaths chalked up to "spotaneous human combustion" happen. |
