Man Brutally Killed After Drinking 3 Cans Of Rum And 3 Bottles Of Beer

A flip-flopped 62 old man was killed with a stab wound to the neck on the afternoon of Tuesday (31).
According to informations given by witnesses to Sergeant Samuel, of the 8th Military Police Battalion, the victim was drinking with a "friend" (who later turned out to don't be very friendly) when the discussion began.

After drinking three cans of rum and three bottles of beer, as a joke, the old man would have called the killer, who is the father of a boy and a girl 12 years 1 year of age, "horned" (not sure about the meaning, but guess it could be roughly translated as "your wife is cheating you").

But the joke wasn't much appreciated, so the man took a bottle of beer and crashed it on the head of the victim, who fell to the ground. Then, the suspect grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim's neck, who died at the scene. The killing occurred at less than two blocks from the police station Satuba, so close, so far

The murderer fled the scene for some reason, but was caught, arrested and taken away by the police.

The victim was wearing a pair of BLUE flip flops model Lassie Come Home ©, which after the crime returned home, as they've been trained to do in emergency cases: these flip flops are easily recognizable because on the left one there's an arrow pointing towards the left, while on the right one there's an arrow pointing towards the right (in latest models, available also in braille, that's why they're widely used by people who are visually impaired), so it's almost impossible to mistake the right one for the left and vice versa.
