Re: Man is Beheaded in a Steel Cable Accident

Thanks!
I wonder how a bus got tangled up with heavily loaded cables. We have a lot of copper mines here, and I've never seen anything that nice at a mine. Even the new equipment they have at the mines here looks dirty and dusty.
only reasonable explanation that comes to my mind in that scene (if it was really caused by steel cable) is that the bus was being towed using long steel cable, then the cable snapped on the fore section and whiplashed.

This china made towing cable is very popular here for breaking near the hook and the whiplash causes broken shields to almost any other damage within its length.

That seems like a reasonable and logical explanation. I haven't been able to think of anything that would explain it, so I would say that your idea is probably correct.

Re: Man is Beheaded in a Steel Cable Accident

It almost looks like he is on a carnival ride. Either that or a factory transport cart of some kind. But it is too clean to look like it ever was in a mine. I would like to know what the cable accident was.
articles stated it was a steel cable from a vessel, a dredger.

Great pics

No, look at the water on the floor. It looks like he was in some type of boat to me. Perhaps sightseeing boat for tourists?
