A man, identified as being 43 years old, resident of Jerusalem District, was found dead inside his residence. Around 10:00 am this morning of Sunday, March 2, triggered popular military police, who attended to the isolation of the area until the arrival of the Civil Police.
A cadaverous survey was carried out. A team from the Department of Technical Police, composed of experts Dr. Marco Antonio Lima and Sandro de Abreu, made up the local expertise. The man had head injuries and was killed with a stick.
According to the experts, there are signs of wrestling and the victim had defense injuries on the arm. "There are no signs of forced entry at the house, indicating that the killer knew the victim and entered the residence with the permission of the same," said the expert. Afterwards the body was removed to the morgue for exams. There is a police inquiry into authorship and motivation of the crime.
Also according to the police, relatives reported that the victim was a drug user and that he had some enemies, including having already been threatened with death. "He had a reputation for brawling," said a relative.
