That has to smell like no other!??!

What is the chance he survived? I thought someone that bad didn't have much chance.

Re: Man Barbecued, Literally

i agree with the surgical intervention angle....however this reminds me of photos of hiroshima...certain patterns and fabrics burned into the skin, this is not a burn pattern however.

Re: Man Barbecued, Literally

he is alive.

also, the cuts are made by the doctors, they do this always when somebody is burnt in a way that it will constrict the blood flow, and/or the expansion of the torso necessary to breathe. i had a case about this last week in university :P (i study medicine)
Wouldn't that also stimulate cell growth for new skin? Considering the burned parts are dead, but underneathe may still be alive. Just curious. I'm a bio science major :)

Re: Man Barbecued, Literally

What is the explanation for his 'manly parts' being a bloody mess. I mean look at that towel- it's soaked in blood, what's going on under the towel?

yes-escharotomy.I wonder what country this was -those are not standard incisions..Doubtful he survived with burns that extensive.BUT if he did-I'll bet he wished he didn't......
