Not sure what kind of burn this is, anybody know how to tell from one burn type to the next? They had to make incisions to release the skin and underlying tissues, they were so tight. It's called a fasciotomy. I bet I know what the next joke will be. |

I recall this image. He's here somewhere but I can't locate him at present. Poor man had been burned (I forget the story) and the cuts you see are to enable him to breathe. His ability to inhale became restricted due to the tightening of his burned skin. Terrible ordeal |
