Around 18:30 this evening (Brazil time) (29) officers of the 24th Battalion of Santa Cruz do Capibaribe received information that there was a man lying on the shoulder of PE 160, close to Pista Motocross Dede Canela Santa Cruz and the District of Wells Fund.
Garrison Lieutenant went to the site to find out information on arriving found the veracity of it. A man was identified as male, 43, and native of the city of Traipu (AL).
The victim had multiple injuries and fractures in his left leg and right arm, and a deep wound on his forehead. Next to the body some clothes that were in a plastic bag, which suggests that the man would be a hiker, werefound.
According to information from a citizen who declined to be identified, the man was intoxicated and throwing himself in front of vehicles passing by. He had stopped and taken away the man off the road and then phoned the municipal guard who said they would send a car to the location, which was not done. According to the witness, this accident could have been avoided if his request had been answered.
Civil Police also were on site conducting the survey cadaverous and awaits the arrival of a relative.
