This made the news in Italy only today, after the son of the victim came back from there.
He was beaten, tortured with a knife then strangled with an electric wire, the suspect was detained because he was caught in the closeness of the crime scene with bloodstains on his shirt.
His son has found out that he married on April 15 2013, but nobody knew about the weddings, neither his relatives nor his friend living there.
There's only a witness to the weddings, who is now missing.
In his diary (which was found into his safe in his villa, now seized) the last words he wrote the day before his weddings:

This is the last mistake i'll do before my death.

According to his son, he may have been blackmailed and forced to marry, he also said that his "wife" is now under investigation, though she has an alibi for the time of the murder.
She asked him for money to allow him to carry the body back to Italy for the funeral, and the taxi driver who carried him to the airport said
"Here, everybody knows that the woman is involved".
Hopefully the investigation will find the culprit(s).
