Malaysian Man Was Split in Half After Falling From 22nd Floor
George Town, Penang, Malaysia A young man died after his body was severed in two, believed to have fallen from the 22nd floor of an apartment building. The body of the 27-year-old local victim was found lodged on a ledge on the third floor by members of the public. Penang Fire and Rescue Department Director, Mohamad Shoki Hamzah, said they received a call regarding a suicide threat at around 5:28 p.m. and immediately rushed to the scene, where they found the body.     |

04.04.2025 - A local man died after allegedly falling from the 22nd floor of an apartment building at Gat Lebuh Macallum in George Town, yesterday. Deputy Chief of Police of the Northeastern District, Supt Lee Swee Sake, said the victim was 27 years old and his party was informed of the incident by the public at 5.07 pm. “The victim was a resident of the apartment and investigations found that there were no criminal elements at the scene or the man’s body,” he said in a statement today. Lee said the body was sent to the Penang Hospital (HPP) Forensic Department for a post-mortem and the case has been classified as sudden death so far. He advised the public not to spread pictures or videos of the incident on social media so as not to offend the victim’s family. Earlier, a 28-second video recording showing a man believed to have fallen from an apartment before getting stuck in the building structure went viral on social media. So did they just NIP that stretched piece of skin holding the body together? That would be the easiest thing to do (separate the two halfs) and lower one half with the ladder truck and wheel out the other half on a stretcher.
