The Lululemon Murders
The Lululemon murder refers to the brutal 2011 killing of Jayna Murray by her coworker, Brittany Norwood, at the Lululemon store in Bethesda, Maryland. The crime scene was described by investigators as a "bloodbath," marked by extreme violence and an elaborate attempt by Norwood to stage the scene as a robbery. After Murray, 30, found a pair of Lululemon leggings in Brittany Norwood's bag during a routine employee bag search, Norwood lured her coworker back into the store after the two had finished their closing duties, under the guise that she had left her wallet behind. Once back inside, Norwood attacked Jayna Murray, who suffered 331 individual wounds, including skull fractures and a severed spinal cord. Norwood used at least five different items found within the store during the attack, including a hammer, a wrench, a utility knife, and a metal peg from a mannequin. Murray, who was alive for the ten-plus-minute attack, finally succumbed to her injuries when Norwood severed her spine with a wound to the back of her head. Norwood would crudely attempt to frame "two masked men" by using a pair of men's size 14 Reebok sneakers found in the store to create tracks through the blood. She took money from the cash register and cut a hole in Murray's pants to suggest a sexual assault. Perhaps most disturbing was that, along with cutting herself and binding her own wrists and ankles with zip-ties in the bathroom, she laid near Murray's corpse overnight until the morning manager discovred the scene. Employees at the neighboring Apple Store testified they heard the 20-minute struggle through the walls, including Murray pleading for help, but did not call 911 because they thought it was "just drama". Norwood was convicted of first-degree murder in January 2012 and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. |

Re: The Lululemon Murders
Did you not read the article? There have been tons of TV specials about this case too. She was about to be fired/arrested for stealing & pure rage took over, so she killed the coworker who found out she was stealing. Tried to say it was 2 random men who did it. May this scumbag killer never rest in peace when she finally croaks.
