Luis Gustavo Machado Siqueira Found Decapitated in His Car, São João da Barra
A car struck a tree on Avenida Atlântica in Atafona, a beach district of São João da Barra in Rio de Janeiro state, Brazil, at about 6.30am on Sunday, February 14, 2016. Inside, Luis Gustavo Machado Siqueira, 45, was discovered decapitated. His head lay 113 metres from the crash site next to a rope secured to a casuarina. Witnesses said they saw the vehicle collide with the tree. According to police, forensic examiners found that Siqueira accelerated after fastening the rope around his neck, and concluded there was no doubt the incident was a suicide. The following day, the Civil Police closed the investigation. |

Dude had a very unique way of off-ing himself. Tie one end of the rope to a tree branch, then tie the other end around your head, and drive as fast as you can! Pop! It'll be pretty hard to make him do that if it was a homicide.

Me too. And I just spent the last 20 minutes trying to find it, with no luck. I'm sure I've seen it here though. Pretty sure. Fairly sure. Almost certain. Aww hell I don't know. I was at one time doing a lot of reading on how there may be an extended period of brain activity or conscious thought in rare cases after decapitation. So I may have read about it someplace else. |
