Lucero Pina Martinez Shot Dead at Acapulco Market, Sept. 4, 2012
Lucero Pina Martinez, 30, was shot dead at about 7:30 a.m. on September 4, 2012, at her semi-fixed sidewalk stall near the second entrance to the Central de Abastos in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico. She sold corn and corn products on Avenida El Quemado. Armed men attacked Martinez at the stall and fled without being identified. Investigators recovered AR-15 and 9mm cartridge casings at the scene, although the weapons used were not otherwise established. No motive was reported, and no suspects were publicly identified. Martinez was reported to be 30, despite other ages that circulated after the killing. A claim that her sister had been murdered days earlier was not corroborated, and no matching August 2012 killing of a female Acapulco market vendor was established. |

Re: Lucero Pina Martinez Shot Dead at Acapulco Market, Sept. 4, 2012
Great pics, Warn. I included one in the DW thread, but am glad to see you added some. Minor correction, though. This woman (identified as Lucero) was 32, not in her 40's. Edit: Here is a similar, but slightly different angle from my DW post. The usual locations have some photos of her front side, but the watermarks are....as bad as expected so I doubt they'll see daylight here. |
