It's not just their owners. Dogs are that loyal to their own mates as well. I saw footage of one braving several lanes of freeway traffic to retrieve the carcass of another dog that had been killed by said freeway traffic. I'm pretty sure they know the difference between alive and dead, so such behavior speaks even more highly of them. Cats, on the other hand... Man, fuck cats. Even my own. |

That hole they're in looks too deep for him to climb out. Loyalty doesn't necessarily mean (willingly) staying with a decomposing corpse. |
