What would have led someone to kill a bricklayer, who was already in his bed, resting for another day of work? The police don't know the answer.
What is known so far is that the victim aged 43 had his house broken into by two criminals, around 21h on Thursday (08th March 2012). The worker attempted to escape from them and had the misfortune to fall into a pit two meters deep that was being excavated.
Bandits, no mercy, fired several shots, four hit the victim in the head, he died in the hole.
What was most moving was the victims dog Mason, who also jumped into the pit, not abandoning his owner.

That is so sad. When reading about how loyal some animals are to their owners, I wonder how could someone kill them.
