Re: London Underground Suicide
You dont envy anyone that has to clean the mess up? I've done it....twice. Not nice either but its part of the job. I can inform you all that this is a fake. Its something that LUL produced for the drivers to watch in the event that they do have a fatality. |

Re: London Underground Suicide
Also its on the Picc Line (deep tube) they have suicide pits. Chances are (IF this was real, which it isnt) that he would have been hit and then fallen into the pit which is below the level of the rails. Most people who attempt to jump in front of LUL trains actually do live thanks to the suicide pit, usually they end up as amputees and some cases double amputees. Only person I feel sorry for is the poor cunt stuck up front who KNOWS that theres nothing he can do other than let go of the traction controller and look away waiting to feel the 2 bumps. One driver I know recently wiped out 4 kids, they were in a tunnel near Gerrards Cross station messing about on the tracks and he was running a non stop service. |

Re: London Underground Suicide
Its not nice man... I've cleaned up 2 high speed hits. 1 at 140mph and another at 186mph. There isnt really much to pick up to be honest. You find what you can and its bagged up but the rest is just washed away by the fire crews when they turn up with the hoses, the train then goes back to the depot for an inspection on all underside equipment and then is cleaned again. Youll be surprised how nasty human flesh smells when its been cooking on top of a hot traction motor. |

Re: London Underground Suicide
The angle of the shoot suggests someone standing on the platform when taking the shot of the train rather than a cctv still which means the photographer knew he was about to jump, the driver is eerily calm in his cab and the shadow is not right. That and the boy in the photo looks like a young teenager and there has been no reports of a boy committing suicide like this in the last few years or so..........only that of Rosie Smith, 18, back in August 2008 Conclusion: IMO - Fake |

Re: London Underground Suicide

Many young'uns get hit.... you public lot wont hear the information or out comes of one unders or any other operational incident. Employees will.

Re: London Underground Suicide
Sorry, Kelly, but I'm going to jump in the fake-wagon this time, but i'll explain my view :) his left leg seems to leave some kind of blurry shadow hanging in the air. Also when comparing the speed of a train to a running human, i'd say the train should be blurry, not the jumper. But that could be just a matter of perspective. But the SHADOW OF HIS FOOT! |
