Local Merchant Assassinated by Extortionists

A 29 year old woman who worked at the local mercantile center was shot and killed in a motorcycle drive-by yesterday morning.

According to police, the woman was murdered as part of an ongoing dispute between local merchants and local criminals and she was encouraging other sellers to stonewall the demands for protection money.

Yeah, sorry. I accidentally uploaded the truncated video clip. Here in the longer one, you can see on the CCTV that a pair of bikes rounds the corner moving very quickly (0:12) and about ten seconds later (0:22), the bike she is on also rounds the corner and she falls off.

The shooter(s) were on those two other bikes and the actual shooting took place off camera. But it took her a few seconds to fall off of the bike after the initial shots.

The right thing and the smart thing are difficult to stand by, I wouldn't say no to people who meant serious business, not even my ass would stand against a serious criminal empire if I had a family, too much to risk, being alone tho...
