I heard recently on the radio a woman holidaying in Greece also met the same fate when she strayed from the tourist route when out sightseeing. I'll try to find the article. Other listeners were calling in with their experiences with vicious dogs abroad. I think it may happen more often than we know.

You do know dogs are pack hunters and resort back to basic instincts like every other animal does once the human hand feeding it is removed..

Happens more than we realize. Reference the 22y woman in Virginia, mauled by her two dogs while walking them in the woods. Sheriff's deputies found the remains and the dogs eating from her torso.
