The 'story' is the news article that accompanied the original photoset. It was translated from Portuguese using Google translation software and then cleaned up into a sensible narrative by me-the guy who took time out of his day to find the story on a foreign news site, translate it, make it sensible, and then post it up here. The statements regarding her being raped by her gym coach and engaging in a homosexual lifestyle were from the dead girl's father. And it isn't exactly far-fetched. A lot of traumatized rape victims develop a psychological hangup about men and sex-they don't have the same inherent fear of women, so a lesbian lifestyle becomes more comfortable for them. A lot of other ones cope with their trauma by seeking to kill the pain with booze or drugs. It isn't exactly rocket science to extrapolate that some of these factors may have related interplay. So I ask you, who came out of TWO YEARS of silent lurking solely for the purpose of asking your question-exactly what sort of answer were you looking for here? |

Sorry. I probably should have been clearer in my original post, since many (if not most) junior high Girls' Gym instructors are actually female. But the alleged rapist in this case was indeed a male.
