Re: Laundry Worker Dies After Arm Cut Off by Centrifuge
im pretty sure the arm did not go that easy. he was probably pulled along with the rotation and got bump and bruised all over the machine until the arm went off. more likely broke his neck in the process.

Re: Laundry Worker Dies After Arm Cut Off by Centrifuge
Hmm, didn't think of that...doesn't look like he has anymore damage to his body other than the severed arm but we can't see his head so who knows. And why didn't have a lid or something on that machine, it looks like they had fixtures for it. |

Re: Laundry Worker Dies After Arm Cut Off by Centrifuge
from what i understood in the story, the employee was only 10 days on the job (rookie), and with a timer on, the centrifuge started and the pants started to come out of the opening. employee pushed it back without stopping the machine and when the machine caught the pants back, it also took the hand that pushed it in. more likely, the pants twisted around his hands too fast to let go of. (i think i pointed out the obvious to most dr fans.. i think id make a good pointer in thailand. yeeyyy, i can have a career... |

Re: Laundry Worker Dies After Arm Cut Off by Centrifuge
That's really scary because I've used those spinners down the launderette when the washing machine broke down. The lids were clumsily constructed and sometimes popped open. I shudder to think this could have happened if I'd got too close |

Re: Laundry Worker Dies After Arm Cut Off by Centrifuge
I have absolutely no idea what the fuck you are describing, which is a shame because you came up with a good story. I wish we only had proper English speakers posting shit to DR, not some people messing up the descriptions with mongrel english. The descriptions, understanding what we are looking at, is half the story. I should not have to wonder what the fuck it is I am reading. Might I recommend you learn our language better, Mr. Mongrel?

Rude much? I for one appreciate him. He is one of the very few consistent posters with new and interesting finds. If you can do better please do. Not everyone has Vetterman's way with words and stories but I'm greatful for the ones that try. |

Re: Laundry Worker Dies After Arm Cut Off by Centrifuge
Lmfao, no one tried to stop the bleeding, ya dingus. The shirt was ripped in the accident and just happened to lay around his arm in that fashion. No one would purposely do that to a dead man's arm. With his own shirt. In a laundry mat.
