He was a very wealthy lawyer and his wife liked spending his money. She was significantly younger than he. One day she got enough of having to do her duty as a wife and decided to kill him together with a friend/co-worker. They found out she used a false name and had been conning men for years. She was well known by police under her real name. So yes, it was money and greed. |
