Not always..Depends on a few things, age of the landmine ,where the body is at the time of detonation or type for instance a AP anti personnel isnt designed to kill but rather to cause severe injuries and are a very crude and cruel devices.The mainly cause a severe concussion and death is not always quick.. Now a AT anti tank , would blow them to pieces... I could get into the whole breakdown but that would bore the hell out of ya..Its a heck of a way to go..I can assure you... |

Anti-Tank mines would turn you into a red mist !! Maybe it was one of those bouncing bettys that fly up and project shrapnel. Never a bore to learn about mines. Post on if you got the info.

Bouncing Betty is a S mine and detonates at chest level or just above the head..So it wasnt a S mine that did this.. The S mines are probably one of the worst of the AP mines... |
