Lailla Cristiane de Arruda: Teen Beheaded in Sonora, Brazil, 2018
Lailla Cristiane de Arruda, 19, was killed on May 31, 2018, near Sonora in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. Four men were arrested and confessed; reporting at the time attributed the killing to rivalry between criminal factions. Originally from Rondonopolis, she had been living and working in Sonora. 19 year old Lailla Cristiane de Arruda was murdered in Sonora. 4 males were arrested + they all confessed. They took her to a rural part of the city on 31st May 2018. They forced Lailla to get on her knees + a 17 year old boy killed her. She was last seen in the company of 21 year old Rodrigo França, 24 year old Alexandro Silva Dos Santos + 2 teenagers (aged 15 + 17). *By the look of her FaceBook profile, she had 2 children.*    Still a censored image but slightly less so than the one in the original post:  |

They admitted that the crime was due to criminal factional rivalry, since Lailla had contact with members of another criminal faction in the state of Mato Grosso. Lailla was from Rondonopolis (MT) but was living in Sonora, where she worked as a program girl. Police found that before the crime, the girl had been threatened. She would be circulating between two factions and taking and bringing information from both. All those involved will be indicted for double-qualified homicide. May they rot in jail |
