This 33 year old Kindergarten teacher was less than two weeks out from getting her bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, which she had worked hard towards for several years. Her boyfriend was a taxi driver and a couple of years younger than her.

She called her sister on her lunch break and said that she'd be late coming home because she was going to ride along while her boyfriend ran some errands.

About two hours later, nearby residents called the authorities to report several gunshots in the wooded area nearby. When the police and reporters arrived, both the teacher and her boyfriend were dead by the side of the road.

Time of death was presumed to be less than 30 minutes before discovery. Both of them had their hands tightly bound with zipties. They were also gagged. According to the police report, the man had been shot twice in the head while his girlfriend, the teacher, had been strangled to death. The report also said her body exhibited 'signs of torture', but it was not more specific.

The crime was never solved, as the police were confounded. The boyfriend's cab service was known for transporting 'VIPs', which sounds suspiciously like crime. It was also reported that he sold second hand goods and periodically lent money. Also smells like crime.

On the other hand, the teacher had an ex-husband from whom she had only been divorced about 5 months. he was known to be temperamental and likely did not approve of the new cabbie boyfriend.

Cops could come up with nothing conclusive on either angle. It was suggested that the woman was the main target since she was tortured and strangled, whereas the man was only shot. Which could lend itself to the ex-husband theory.

It is also possible (and has been seen before) that the boyfriend was the target and the killers tortured and slowly strangled his woman in front of him to try to get him to divulge information, perhaps about one of his clients or stolen goods or drugs.

Whatever the case, they're both quite dead and it is unlikely they deserved to go out the way they did. But that may just be me being soft.

Great post if they were innocent victims of an exes jealousy then it's tragic,if it's the case the bf was caught up in illegal activities and she was collateral damage and didn't know anything about it then that's also tragic...if it's a case of they both knew what he was upto and she took her chances then that's foolish and unlucky..I'll stop now I'm getting carried away

Yeah, all the mysteries in the world don't change the outcome. I'd like to know the reason they died, purely out of personal curiosity, but it will likely never be revealed.

And yes, based on their last known whereabouts and the time of her death, they got abducted an hour or two after going out for lunch. She was probably expecting a quick return home after their errands and didn't think to visit a toilet. Made a hell of a mess. It's a pretty normal and common thing to happen in this type of death, but it does regrettably make for a pretty undignified final image to leave for the world.

Yeah, that's not a dignified way to go, but when it's time to go, it's time to go. I wish we had a reaper or a skull emoji on here, something like that for the death & gore images and videos...
