The first incident occurred in the municipality of Atoyac de Alvarez, as a passer by found a dead man within walking distance of Boulevard Juan Alvarez, in the Costa Grande region.

Authorities took over the body and was taken to the Forensic Medical Service facilities, it was identified as Mario Gomez Sanchez, 49, who in life was a taxi driver.

In addition three other bodies were found in the town of Tecpan de Galeana, near highway Acapulco-Zihuatanejo, people were tied by the hands and feet, besides having blindfolded with duct tape.
