On June 23th, 2008, at night, a young fisherman was killed by a couple of "onças ".
The victim was the young fisherman called Luis Alex da Silva Lara, 22 years old.It happened in Brazil, near to the municipality called Cárceres, situated in southern state of Mato Grosso do Sul.The young fisherman was fishing with his father on the Paraguai river.
While her father Alonso Silva Lara,54 years old, was fishing on edge of the river, Luis Alex was sleeping inside the tent on the camp.
Suddenly, Alonso heard his son screaming, running back to the camp, he saw a couple of jaguars attacking him.
He was being to dragged outside the tent, while he was screaming in pain and scared, his head was inside the onça's jaw.
Using just a machete, Alonso couldn't do anything to scare the couple of Jaguars.
Alonso started to yelled for help to another fishermen, who were fishing around the river.
But the help came too late.
They couldn't do anything to avoid his death.

The farmer Ivanildo Reis, 28 years old.
two of his eight dogs were being attacked by a jaguar.
Attempting to save them, he was attacked too, in spite of seriously wounded, he got to survive.
