Stalin, if I remember my history correct, eliminated the Bolsheviks as an independent working party by the late 20's. There were known Russian renegade troops toward the end of the war that took out vengeance against the Germans, but as a whole, the army did not adhere to such behavior, unlike the German Einsatzgruppe, which it was their sole policy to carry out systematic ethnic cleansing. Many Nazi sympathizers, to this day, will find pics such as depicted in this thread, and falsely proclaim it as atrocities carried out by the Russians. . .
