In the early morning of Saturday, September 13, 2014, at around 07h:30min, military police were deployed to move a person stretched on the bloodied asphalt and possibly dead. The local military found that the victim was already in death, killed by blows from a brick. The victim had no documents, and due to the blows delivered in the face with a block of brick taken from a nearby location, and the sinking of the face. A fisherman who moved into the Iguassu River have witnessed three people with the victim already lying on the asphalt around 06h:00, however not stopped fearing being robbed. The body was removed to the morgue of the IML.

What did he do to deserve a brick to the face though? Reminds me of when I was younger.... my oldest brother smashed my head against the brick fireplace in our living room. My head gushed blood for a good 5 minutes before finally slowing down. Doctors at the hospital kept telling me to not fall asleep... Remember thinking how tired I felt and how badly I just wanted to sleep.
