Sad that these pics look like they came from a third world country. Hard to believe this is our backyard. Side note most of these fucks stayed back to loot! thinking it wouldnt be that bad! good ridance to them.
Most of the people who stayed were too poor to leave. The storm became serious very quickly. Societal rules go out the window when you're abandoned by your government and left to rot. If you treat people like animals how can you be surprised when they act like one? Some of yall are fucking stupid or just live in a bubble and it shows.

Not to mention Katrina wouldn't have been that bad and staying wouldn't have been such a problem had the levees not failed. This wasn't a natural disaster so much as a man-made failure.

Bush fucked up, but there was a clusterfuck on all political levels.

I'm also gonna add that Trump could have handled Hurricane Maria MUCH better. Somehow, I don't think that Biden's response to Ida will be much better than Bush's or Trump's (if at all).
