On the evening of Thursday, 27th of February, a 44 year old journalist and former councilman was shot while in his car. It is reported that his car was approached by another car containing a number of people. One of them called out to him, which lead to him opening his door, and ended with him getting shot 5 times, 3 in the shoulder, two in the neck.

His girlfriend, who was in the car, was also shot in the leg and taken to hospital.
