Santa Cruz, July 2nd: a 20yo man known as "Cookie" was drinking with some friends and, from what I can gather, was making remarks to a married woman.

Then lo and behold, an unknown element in a black Volkswagen Golf appeared moments later and shot Cookie at least five times. Three hit him in the back and two in the chest.

According to some witnesses, before the murder there was a disagreement between the victim and another unidentified person.

So the murder was either because he said something unfavourable to a married woman or the result of a prior disagreement. Or just both
