He's got some Penne pasta in his eye?

LOL, looks like pasta, but actually, that's a "penrose drain". They are latex hollow tubes that are sutured into deep wounds to help keep fluids, exudate, pus, etc from accumulating. This helps wounds heal from the inside outward and not abscess.
This injury is spectacularly horrendous! I don't think this guy's gonna come out of that for facial reconstruction!!! Jeeze, his poor family! Anyone know who this guy is or what the story is?
