Jake McCrann, 42, Found Dead in a Siem Reap Hotel, August 1, 2018
Jake Benjamin McCrann, a 42-year-old Australian, died in his room at the Lakeside Boutique Hotel in Siem Reap, Cambodia, on August 1, 2018. He was found dead on his bed after a long bicycle ride. His family said he suffered an exercise-induced heart attack brought on by riding in hot, humid conditions. A Buddhist service was held at a wat in Phnom Penh on August 9, followed by a memorial at Sandringham Yacht Club in Melbourne on September 3.      |
