yes, it is a violent country, but they do not commit violence in the name of religion - nor do they seem to try and better themselves for the afterlife, just the here and now. therefore they do not seem to go and kill multiple people from a slightly different faith for no other reason but to eradicate them totally

religion has never been the actual problem, but when you get extremists believing certain things, a certain religion can become a major problem

many filipinos are very poor too, but surprisingly the only terrorist acts there come from muslims towards christians - not the other way around
