Iraq: Soldiers Pose With Dead Said to Be Insurgents, Anbar 2014
The material originated during combat in Anbar province in early 2014, when Islamic State seized Fallujah and the Iraqi Army was attempting to recapture Ramadi. The dead were described as insurgents, but two conflicting identifications were also reported without either being established: Sunnis slain by the Iraqi army, or ISIS fighters. At the time, the difference was consequential. Human Rights Watch reported that government forces bombarded civilian neighborhoods in Ramadi and Fallujah throughout 2014, used barrel bombs against Fallujah, and unlawfully killed at least 255 detainees across six cities in June alone. The great majority were Sunni. Between January and October, the Anbar medical directorate recorded more than two thousand deaths, among them women and children. Separate documentation described Iraqi soldiers taking photographs of people they had killed and uploading them to Facebook with claims that the dead belonged to ISIS, although the photographs could not be independently verified. That practice was well established, but the identities of these particular dead were never established, and no account resolved the competing claims.  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

Yeah a source it says it was an ISIL (foreign jihadis) member run over by a tank.
