Re: IRA (Irish Republican Army)
No, Ireland isn't a dump at all and neither is Northern Ireland. Ireland is a beautiful country little touched by the needs of a large population. The people are gentle, full of humour and very accomodating and accepting of guests. It's only real problem is a lack of natural resources to export so it is quite a poor state trying to compete in a European market. This stuff about a united Ireland is nonsense. It would be like say a group of Mexicans in Texas trying to reunite Texas into Mexico since it was "stolen" from the Mexicans in 1845 . There are some Texans who might agree and take militant action to force the deal (the Texas Republican Army?). Most Texans would want to stay American despite historically Texas being part of Mexico. Some Texans might fight back (Loyalists)... Should we reunite Texas with Mexico even though most Texans don't want to. Well it's the same deal in Northern Ireland. Most Northern Irish consider themselves British. So why take their country off them and give it to another country just because a few want it that way? |

Re: IRA (Irish Republican Army)
I know I'm resurrecting an old ass post- but, I just came across and watched this. Seems to be a lot of sketchyness that went down. This documentary is called The Funeral Murders- filmed in 2018. |
