I'm an Irishman too. What a load of crap, living in Dublin doesn't make you involved at all. Even in East Belfast things are quiet and the troubles are behind us. There is no honour in the terrorism dealt to Northern Ireland from both sides and the idea that people in the USA have supported terrorism and murder from their pockets disgusts me. Sorry, I'm a Brit. I was married to a Royal Marine who spent quite a few years in Belfast. I hated the things he told me about, both for the Irish and for the soldiers who were sent there.

I think if you asked the ordinary every day working person who's just trying to live their life and not bother anyone that they just wish all this war and crap would just go away.
I have good Irish friends. One of the wives of a Marine was an Irish girl who married a Royal Marine and her family were NOT happy. So it made life very difficult for them.

I don't hate the Irish. I don't hate anyone if they are just living their life and not hurting anyone. I hate extremist actions, I deplore terrorism. But it's never going to go away.

As long as humans are on the planet this crap will continue.
