Manager of an investment scheme, shot to death in Davao City

DAVAO CITY - 29-year-old E.M. was killed after being shot while she was about to get inside her car at around 4:00 PM Monday afternoon [September 30, 2019] at Peñano Street, Barangay Calinan Proper in this city.

According to an investigation by Calinan Police, the victim came from her office, at when she opened the door of her car she was approached by a man and shot her in the head using the .45 caliber pistol, that resulted in her instant death.

After the incident, the armed rode on a motorcycle, where a man was waiting nearby.

"She was not from here. She was from Panabo City and she received death threat where she blottered here at Panabo Police Station due to an investment scheme on RTM Investment Scheme, where she was a manager," according to Police Major Arquimedes Wesley, Station Commander of Calinan Police.

As of now, the authorities are continuing their investigation to identify the armed's identity.

Either I'm missing something or something was lost in translation, but other than the word "scheme", I see no reference to a scam. So was she really a scammer?

This is all a scam, just look at the 5 phones, cash etc....it was probably a sophisticated one, but still a scam/pyramid scheme type shit
