Re: Inspecting The Brain - Meningitis
My granny's brother died of spinal meningitis at age 12. There are a few funeral and coffin photos around but I have have never been successful at uploading them here. He didn't look like that chick from pet cemetery, he just up and developed a bad headache. Died before he ever got to a doctor.

Re: Inspecting The Brain - Meningitis
My 7yr. old son died of this exact strain of Menigitis 13 year's ago on April 7th, 1999. This time of the year is the HARDEST for me to stay sane and get through each and every anniversary date. They say that time heal's all wound's, but I find that to be bullshit! you have just had longer to cope with the "New Normal" your life has to become. |

Re: Inspecting The Brain - Meningitis
I lost my son Aug 04, 1977 and you are so right, the wound NEVER heals. I was just listening to my IPod and started crying because of a Harry Chapin song I use to listen to when my son was alive. You do stop bleeding but you never really heal. My heart goes out to you. As for that brain, my ex-husband barely escaped with his life when he was 4 or 5. Looks nasty.....
