Two men were arrested for the murder of a friend.
Both men and the victim were fishermen and childhood friends.

The apprehended confessed to the murder of their friend. He was killed with five bullets. After the shooting they carried the body to a canoe and went across the river.

During last week police and firefighters already searched for the body of the victim who had disappeared.
Police found traces of blood and a stained shirt in the river, which showed traces of a murder.

After initial investigations 2 friends of the victim were interrogated at the police station and denied any involvement.

With the evidence pointing to the two friends police obtained information that the murderers would try to spawn the body in a nearby town for the weekend.

At dawn on Saturday the sheriff and other officers were driving near the river banks when they saw the two men cutting a body into several pieces, separating the head and stuffing other parts in two large plastic bags, which were placed in the trunk of their vehicle, along with a knife.

The vehicle of the men was followed by officers in an unmarked police car who managed to make the approach after five minutes of persecution.
The killers pulled the vehicle on the edge of a ravine, in a swamp near the highway.

The two offenders ran into the woods, being followed by four policemen.
One was arrested and the other managed to escape and was arrested later on.

They will be indicted for murder and destruction and concealment of a corpse.
