Innocent Bystander Shot Dead by Police
In the Chom Chao district at 10am, on 21st January 2018, a man lost his life. The police were doing a raid where cockfighting + gambling were taking place. 33 year old factory worker Chea Rorn, an innocent bystander, was hit by a bullet. He died on the way to the hospital. He leaves behind his 31 year old wife Nop Phany, also a factory worker. From the rough translation, it seems as though the police officers helped towards the funeral. Doesn't really equate to the poor man losing his life.                                               |
