Influencer, Linked to Murder of Police Sergeant, Shot Dead - Head Destroyed
Mãe do Rio, Pará, Brazil On July 29th, a retired police sergeant and former head of the Municipal Guard of Mãe do Rio, Sergeant Alves, was shot dead in a commercial area of the municipality. Four hooded men got out of a vehicle and fired several shots at the victim. (see video for Alves' corpse at the morgue)    Following the homicide, a police operation was launched in the region. During the operation, seven suspects involved in the crime died in a confrontation with security forces.        Arrested during the police operation was an influencer, Evelyn Lima Dantas, who was believed to have served as some sort of an informant. She was temporarily released, but on the 16th September, according to her relatives, two men broke into her residence and dragged her to the front of the property, where she was shot in the head multiple times. Before fleeing, the duo reportedly spray-painted the acronym "TCP" on the façade of the residence, an abbreviation associated with the Terceiro Comando Puro.   |
