No doubt Vogler was an amazing driver Sometimes I wish I had paid more attention to Sprint/Midget Racing back in the day But for whatever reason I kinda just brushed it aside I knew even back then that Vogler was one of if not the best Sprint/Midget drivers of that era But again (like the picture im about to post) I remember him most from all the Indy 500s he appeared in |

Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
Turn 4 at Daytona in 1984 I have no idea what, why, who, how, or when Turn 4 in 1984 became the place to NOT be if you were a NASCAR driver in Daytona I already posted Natz Peters and Jim Hurlbert as well and Randy Lajoie a few pages back But this "Ripley's Believe It Or Not" of nightmarish crashes deserves another look starting with Ricky Rudd and then getting worse I decided to spend some time to make a proper video of all three crashes, so we can have them all together in one easy to find place I also took the time and liberty to transform my favorite TV show as a child into my own personal showcase for these unexplained series of crashes I hope that those who grew up with Jack Palance in the 1980s scaring the living piss out of you with his deadpan "Believe it.......or not" will enjoy this clip even more |

Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
The aftermath of Philippe Streiff's huge testing crash at Rio before the start of the 1989 season. The AGS destoyed itself and Streiff was left strapped unconcious in the cars tub and possibly due to a lack of medical help he suffered spinal injuries that left him paralysed. Philippe finished 3rd in the Australian GP 1985 and won the French F3 Championship in 1981. |
