You recall correctly, Tomas Scheckter with Brack, and Wheldon (his fault) & his team-mate Scott Dixon (& others) with the Michegan crash of Franchitti.

Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
Ok no more tip toeing through the tulips, time to get busy posting or get busy dying Ok first off, here is the real Riccardo Paletti post Vid first, pics second Riccardo Paletti: 1982 Canadian Grand Prix at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve One of the most bone chilling things you will ever see in your life, its like Roger Williamson, only this time drivers and fire marshals try and try and try to get the stuck Paletti out of his car when all the sudden the car bursts into flames and within 10-20 seconds it becomes a raging inferno The coroner said that Paletti was unconscious at the time of the fire and his internal injuries were so severe that he would have died on the scene regardless of a fire or not We can only hope that the coroner was correct, because I have nightmares to this day about him being awake and feeling the fire around him |
