I didn't know that Count De Beaufort was conscious after his Nurburgring accident that ended up fatal.

Hell yes my Mini Cooper race car could go faster than that. This was a F1 car supposedly designed for near 200 MPH. Low budget team with clearly inferior construction even for the time.
