Was gonna say! Apparently there was a photographer who vaulted the barrier at Tamburello but the Senna family took out an injunction banning their release.

Erik Comas in a Ligier had a huge crash at Spa 1992 during qualifying for the Belgian GP. This a nice photo of Ayrton Senna helping the stricken Frenchman after jumping out of his McLaren at the crash scene.

Great all-rounder Al Holbert inverts his IMSA Chevy Monza into the gravel trap at Lime Rock in 1976. Al won five races that season and the Championship, which he also won the following year. Al won Le Mans three times, Daytona twice, finished 4th at the 1984 Indy 500, scored four top ten NASCAR finishes and ran the Porsche Indycar team. He tragically lost his life in an aircraft crash in 1988.  ·  · |

Fans of Nascar will already be aware that there's been a serious accident at Daytona today. Car debris went into the grandstand and several fans have been injured. Nothing official as yet, but it could be the worst news. I've seen one pic of the car and it's literally being split in 2 by the fence. Scary stuff. |
