Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
I saw these pictures when I was about 5-6 years old in I think one of my dads old issues of "Argosy" that focused on racing deaths (I could be wrong but it was either Argosy or a mag just like it) and they gave me nightmares for months, maybe even years. I still shiver when I see them RIP Skimp Hersey |

Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
Today is amazing classics day, for some reason the old photos are so much more disturbing to me. maybe its the black and white? Maybe its the "good old days" vibe of simpler times that gets shattered when you look at these photos One thing is for sure, in the 1930s 40s and 50s there were some skilled photographers that got impossible shots of racing crashes |

Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
I know that Gordo has already been covered, however I did some stop frame studies years ago and have found some of the frames showing the impact Of course they are not high quality, but at the same time its easy to see whats happening in each frame |

I NEVER WANT TO BECOME A RACE CAR DRIVER, I WILL STICK TO VIDEO GAMES... This can happen so fast, you might make a mistake and next thing you know, your dead or splattered all over the track.
