Derek is truly one of the great guys of F1. How he could put up with Eddie Cheever at Arrows and TWR Jaguar for all those years is beyond me.

Chico Serra's massive crash during qualifying for the French GP 1983 in an Arrows, after leaving the track and rolling over into the catch fencing, but still making the grid in 26th.

Serra won the 1979 British Formula Three Championship and participated in 33 Formula One World Championship Grands Prix with a best result of 6th. He was also Brazilian stock car racing champion in 1999, 2000 and 2001.
Derek Warwick's crash was probably Dijon in '84.
Also from France, another view (I think) of Serra's upturned Arrows a year earlier.

Possibly Group B, maybe Scandanavia or Monte Carlo, c.85 or 86, definitely painful! Check out the guy flying upside down behind the car. Anyone know anything more about this one?

Ari Vatanen crashes into spectators during the 1985 Monte Carlo rally in his works Peugeot 205 T16. No one was seriously injured in this incident and Ari went on to win the event in one of the greatest drives seen at the Monte.
