This 28 year old woman hung herself the day after her 28th birthday. She was discovered shortly thereafter when some locals who saw her bright red shirt amidst the leaves of the trees.

She had a bag nearby that had several articles of men's clothing, which has proved a point of confusion for the local authorities. She also had some money and her ID. The death is being considered suspicious, due to the location of her death and, according to the report, the fact that her tongue was not swollen and protruding from her mouth. Generally when someone asphyxiates with the noose in that position, it will force the tongue out, but not always. The position of the tongue was not consistent with their criteria for a hanging suicide. The report did mention, however, that she had no external signs of violence, the ligature mark was typical for a hanging, and there was feces found inside her underpants, all of which do fit their usual criteria for suicidal asphyxia.

Still, the case remains open pending a full autopsy.
