Indonesian Hanging
This teenage girl was discovered hanging in her home this morning. She had been seen at breakfast less than an hour earlier, so she is very freshly dead. Motive was unknown, but neighbors said she had been depressed because her parents had just gotten divorced.  Forensics scene report indicated that the family was satisfied with a verdict of suicide and refused an autopsy. A physical examination of the corpse and the scene was conducted and the verdict of suicide corroborated. Her tongue was not protruding, which caused some consternation among FB users on the rescue group. It always confuses the Indonesians, who seem to believe that the tongue will protrude in any suicide hanging, but not a homicide. In any case, the scene notes indicate that suicide by hanging was the cause of death. The ligature mark on her neck matched the dimensions of the noose, there were no signs of violence on her body, and the physical exam noted the presence of urine and feces in her pants and on the floor beneath her.  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

Personally, I think it’s sad for everyone, including the person who kills them self. They must be in such a state of severe pain and hopelessness. They probably think their family and friends will be better off without them. It’s just a tragedy all the way around.  |
