This 25 year old woman failed to show up to work this morning. Two of her friends/coworkers went to check on her at her boarding house after their shift and found it locked. One of them managed to jimmy a window open to look inside and was quite surprised to discover her hanging from the window trellis itself.

She had left a note (pictured below and loosely translated here) that read:

Everything I'm going through right now really makes me not strong anymore. There's no place to finish it. Today I really gave up. The problem I face is that I have no friends to confide in.

Brothers also can only advise, but no one wants to help solve this problem that I am experiencing.

I chose to kill myself because I couldn't face it alone. Lord, if indeed this is a big sin, forgive me and I am ready to enter your Hell.

For the people I love, I'm sorry I bothered you. For mom and dad, I'm sorry I couldn't make you happy. All my life I only bother you and until the end of my life I usually bother you.

Thank you for your love all this time. And for the people I disappointed, I'm sorry. Goodbye all.

The forensic investigator provided a report to the news agencies stating that he was logging her death as a suicide by hanging. The note was fairly clear and the visual evidence at the scene corroborated the findings. To wit, he stated that she was fully dressed and the body had not been molested in any visible way. The only injuries he noted were the ligature bruises from the scarf she used. The door was locked from the inside. Her tongue was not protruding, but she had bitten the tip of it. He also mentioned that her shorts and underpants were soaked with urine, which is typical for hanging deaths.

Side note, I have been asked multiple times when providing scene data on these Indonesian hangings how they provide intimate details about the body (like bowel and bladder evacuation) prior to the autopsy being conducted and whether or not such examinations actually occur right at the scene.
That aspect of the process isn't typically included in the photo arrays, but you can see in this case that the final image in this set actually shows the forensic worker pulling down her shorts and panties and inspecting them for urine.
